KYGO.

29th of March, the day when me and my friends went to Kygo's Cloud Nine Tour concert in the concert hall Palladium in Cologne. There are no words that express how I felt before, during and after the concert, so I will just tell you how the day was and show you some pictures!
We were at my house and prepared for the concert. The admission was at 6:30 pm and the concert started at 8 pm. So we thought about being there at 6 pm, so there won't be too many people already and we can be close to the stage. We went there at 5 pm and arrived at 6 pm, but the line was already sooooo long! We waited half an hour until the staff opened the gates. All in all it was well-organized and no scramble. When we got into the Palladium, we immediately ran to the coatrack to leave our jackets there before we went into the concert hall. After we arrived, it was already one third full, but we were actually pretty satisfied with our view to the stage. So we waited until 8 pm, when Sonny Alven, who is a Norwegian producer and DJ, came out and turned out to be the opening act. You can listen to him on Spotify, I really like some tracks of him. My favourite of him at the moment is "Irregular Love". After half an hour another supporting act named Anna of the North, a Norwegian singer, came on the stage. She performed some of her songs, which were more quiet.
When it was around 10 pm, Kygo came. Finally. The crowd screamed and were all excited to see him (well at least I was). It was simply amazing. No words. He opened his performance with his "Younger" and "Miami 82" remixes. So beautiful. Then he played some of his older remixes like "Often" or "Sexual Healing" and also - of course - songs from his new Album "Cloud Nine". I love how he plays the piano by himself because it is just so beautiful to hear and see. The last song was his first original release "Firestone", which he announced very proudly. He performed the acoustic version with Anna of the North and it was heaven.
Everything ended at 11:30 pm, which went really fast to be honest. However, we will never forget this concert, it made us, especially me, soooo happy. I loved it.
Here are some pictures, which will give you some impressions, but honestly - go to concerts (especially his) by yourself! It will make your night shine much brighter!

Love,
Tu My xoxo

UPDATE.

Hello beautieees x,
I haven't written about my life in a while, so I just wanted to keep you up to date.
Well, I am in my semester break for about two weeks now and I have the right to, since I've been all stressed about my exams. Whatever, it's over (at least for now) and I'm already preparing myself to do the exams in November.
Oh my goooosh, and I still have so much other things to do in the next few weeks. Got soo much in my mind!!
There is my cousins wedding, a nightover, birthdays, meetings aaand I'm probably going on vacation next weekend for I don't know how long. I'll tell you more about it, when it's 120% sure!
As you might know, I'm in Cologne right now with my family and friends, and I still need to go back to Münster a few times because of private matters *wink*
Did you know that I'm going to be a "WWU-Buddy"? If not: "WWU" is the name of the college I go to in Münster and being a "WWU-Buddy" means to take care of international students from everywhere but Germany, who want to study for a while in our college. Taking care means pretty much everything. To guide them around Münster, to show them our college, to go on lunch and dinner with them, to show them our nightlife (which I'm not good at, but the "WWU-Buddy"s are going to be paired off, so I hope my partner will be better at it) and some more points. I'm really excited to meet my two students!
However, I'm going to write more about everything when it all happened.
Here are some pictures, which you haven't seen, from the past few weeks/months *smirk* :

SUN

Hello sunshines,
I hope you all had a great week so far because it can only get better!
In less than four hours I'm going to head back to Cologne and my weekend there is going to be fabulous! The sun will shine and I'm going to spend these days with some precious people. Barbecue with my ladies, shopping with wonderful people and a wellness day in Bad Oeynhausen. Can't wait!
Furthermore, there is a package from Hollister waiting for me. I've also ordered Abercrombie & Fitch clothes, which are just some basics. Unfortunately, I haven't taken some pictures yet, but be prepared! I will post a few pictures next week!

Whatever, I wish you all an awesome weekend with all your beloved once!

Love,
Tu My xoxo

HOW TO WRAP SPRING ROLLS!

  6. Die fertigen Frühlingsrollen in die Fritteuse. Voilà, goldbraune Frühlingsrollen!

Hey fellows!
Today I made some spring rolls with my mom because we had some guests today. We always make big spring rolls with meat, which I totally love! Here the instruction:
  1. You need: spring roll pastry, the filling (in this case meat with vegetables), flour and water porridge
  2. First, you lay down the spring roll pastry with the tip showing to you. Spread some flour and water porridge at the top of the spring roll pastry, so you won't have a loose spring roll at the end. Put some meat on the third of the spring roll pastry.
  3. Take the lower tip and lay it over the meat. Now roll the meat until the lower top is at the middle of the pastry.
  4. Lay the outter tips to the middle of the meat. Make sure that the meat is covered by the pastry.
  5. At the end, you roll the meat within the outter tips of the pastry to the with flour and water porridge spreaded top.
  6. Put the rolled spring rolls into the fryolator. Voilà, you crispy spring rolls!

Have fun!
xoxo Tu My

RENDEZVOUS!

This is SICK!
On Sunday, I went to Rendezvous to have some brunch. The restaurant is in Cologne and there was a giant brunch buffet, which costs 9,90€. You can only have brunch at the weekend, otherwise you can only order a "simple" breakfast. I definitely recommend it, especially because of the fair price. You have a huge choice (like you can see on my pictures)! At the beginning I didn't know where to start! You need to see it with your own eyes, only then you'll believe me. There is also always a fresh supply, my friends and me used it to full capacity! Tip: Go there with an empty stomach!

Tu My xoxo
